Development Intern

Kristyna is a graduate of Boston University’s College of Communication class of 2019, with a Bachelor of Science in Film and Television and a minor in Psychology. She has been a digital photographer for the past 10 years, focused on arts & culture, community events & programming, and nature & wildlife subjects. While pursuing her undergraduate education, she has taken courses in film production, journalism, and visual arts to be a multidisciplinary artist, communicator and designer. Last March, Kristyna became a published writer through the International Women’s Writing Guild, 2020 Mentorship Program where the cohort of women compiled poetry and prose to create Heels Into the Soil: Stories of Poems Resisting the Silence. In May 2021, she also participated in MIT’s Feminist Futures Hack-a-thon in the subject of environmental justice. For this project, she created a photography series on pollution in the Merrimack River. Now, Kristyna desires to work collaboratively with her creative peers in the Greater Boston area and East Coast to tell cinematic stories from diverse communities through many artistic disciplines.
