Jacq Roderick (they/she) is a recent Wellesley College graduate, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with Creative Writing. Their poetic work is grounded in the honest (and oftentimes gritty) experiences of their working-class upbringing on the South Shore, and lends insight and tact to themes of identity, family, trauma, and loss. She is a strong believer in accessibility and asserting poetry as something everyone can enjoy. They are currently the Marketing Intern with Mass Poetry, and hope to ensure outreach for anyone looking to get involved. She enjoys queer media, a good chai latte, and her community. Their favorite poem is Mary Oliver’s “The Journey.”
