Estelle Defranchi is a second-year MBA student at Babson College, where she is honing her skills in leadership and business strategy. With a solid foundation in law and government contracting, she brings a unique perspective to her studies and professional endeavors.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Estelle is committed to making a positive impact in the community. Joining Mass Poetry as a Board Fellow, she is eager to contribute to the promotion of poetry and the arts in Massachusetts, fostering connections between diverse voices and inspiring creativity for budding poets.
Originally from France, Estelle has a profound appreciation for French poetry, especially Victor Hugo’s poignant work, “Demain, dès l’aube,” (Tomorrow, at Dawn) which reflects themes of longing and introspection that resonate deeply with her. She finds that poetry offers a unique and powerful medium for expressing emotions that might otherwise be difficult to articulate.
Outside of her studies and board involvement, Estelle enjoys boxing, exploring new countries, experimenting with fusion cuisine, and watching the four majors in tennis with her family.
