Jack Furet

Born in New York and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Jack Furet moved north to Boston in June 2020. Following two years of youth service with Americorps, his current day job is serving as the Events and Marketing Manager for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Mass. While even he’s not quite sure how to describe his work, Jack has dabbled in short fiction, poetry, and general scribbling for almost as long as he can remember. His stylistic influences include Omar Khayyam T.C. Boyle, Toni Morrison, Dr. Cornel West, Charles Bukowski, and his grandmother (to name a few). His debut poem Letting Love Lead the Way was published last month in Glass Gates Publishing’s GGP Collective Vol. II.
