Jazmyn Mason

Jazmyn Mason (she/they) is a sophomore at Emerson College studying Marketing Communications. Born and raised in northern Louisiana, her passion for the arts, especially poetry, is rooted in a desire for an expanse of accessibility to the arts and education throughout underrepresented communities. Jazmyn ardently pursued the arts in her hometown, going on to become her region’s Poetry Out Loud Champion, and she continued to bring this fervor to her college and now, Mass Poetry. When she’s not writing a fun poem or song or nailing a presentation for her marketing class, you can find her dancing with her school’s dance company, trying every pizza place in Boston (11 so far), and dissecting the meaning of life with her friends. She is also beyond excited to be the marketing intern for Mass Poetry!
