Andrew Cherif is currently an undergraduate Political Science and Philosophy major at Northeastern University. Born in Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire, Andrew lived in sub–Saharan West Africa before moving to Baltimore, Maryland where his family now resides. He is involved with the Northeastern Political Science Review and is always interested in learning and writing about issues of political inequality. Andrew performs bass in and around Boston and is always looking for new music from across the world. Being a musician and writer living in an urban setting, the city serves as a constant source of inspiration. Andrew often finds himself creatively driven by the gritty and harsh realities cities like Boston and Baltimore present. When he is not reading West African poetry or political theory you can find him skateboarding through downtown Boston.
