Exciting news: it’s just about time for our bi-monthly reading series, U35! Mass Poetry’s November U35 reading is this Thursday, November 10th at 7PM at Trident Booksellers & Cafe on Newbury Street (338 Newbury St, Boston, MA 02115)! This event is FREE and open to the public. Find us on the second floor of the bookstore.
Mass Poetry’s U35 series is a bi-monthly reading series that promotes spoken-word poets under the age of 35. The series seeks to promote and bolster young Massachusetts poets while giving them a venue to share their work and connect with other poets and writers. It serves as a great introduction to the spoken-word scene in Boston while allowing you to support local artists and mingle with other writers across Massachusetts. This month’s lineup features Katee Fletcher, Jack Giaour, Amy Pollard, and Santiago Rivas. Join us for an evening of extraordinary words, delicious food and drink, and maybe a bit of book browsing in between. Bring a friend or make some new ones!
U35 ran for four years under its founder, Daniel Evans Pritchard, before Mass Poetry adopted the series in May 2014. Check out past speakers and performers here.
