Ruby Lynch is a junior at Boston University, where she is majoring in English with double minors in Education and Communications. Her academic pursuits reflect her deep passion for the written word and its power to connect, inspire, and transform. Ruby’s dedication to creative writing and publishing extends beyond her coursework and resonates both on and off her college campus.
At Boston University, Ruby currently holds the newly-appointed position of Editor for the Campus section at The BU Buzz, which stands as the university’s pioneering lifestyle magazine. In her role, she brings her creative talents and editorial prowess to the forefront, contributing to the growth and success of the magazine. Ruby’s journey with The BU Buzz began as a writer for the Campus section, culminating in her three-page feature spread in the spring 2023 print edition.
Beyond her editorial commitments, Ruby is a multi-faceted student leader. She dedicates her time as a Dean’s Host and an Admissions Ambassador, where she embodies the essence of Boston University’s vibrant community and shares her enthusiasm with prospective students. Outside of her academic and extracurricular pursuits, Ruby channels her creativity into personal essays and poetry. In her free time, she also enjoys getting outside, practicing yoga, and cooking!
