Kate Carlisle

Kate Carlisle is a Boston based writer. Born and raised in Massachusetts, she is honored to join the Mass Poetry team in celebrating poetry and uplifting writers. Kate recognizes writing as a practice of connection, empathy, and authentic expression. As a current English student at Northeastern University, Kate is developing her voice as a creative writer independently and in her role as a writer for Spectrum Literary Magazine’s Creative Committee. When she is not writing, she enjoys taking long walks, being in nature, and being around great music of all kinds.
