For the last twenty-five years Kate has spent her career at EF (Education First), a global education company, specializing in language learning, cultural exchange, educational travel and academic degree programs across more than 100 countries. Kate’s focus at EF has been leading Sales and Marketing teams, overseeing the Education and Product Innovation space and guiding the People and Culture strategy.
Before EF, Kate started her career canvassing door-to-door, she sold advertising space for a specialty newspaper, pitched salmon off boats in Alaska, worked on fundraising campaigns for non-profits and political campaigns and co-founded a database company for non-profit organizations.
Kate grew up in New York City, with a family of artists, musicians, writers, and neighborhood organizers. As more recent empty nesters, Kate and her husband Steven, an artist, split their time between Cambridge, MA and Stowe, VT.
