Kaela Bonin

Semester-in-the-City Intern

Kaela Bonin is an sporadic poet who is finishing up her sophomore year at Wheaton College, studying Creative Writing with a minor in Psychology. Kaela was born and raised in the D.C area, spending her childhood in Alexandria, Virginia. After moving and starting school in Sudbury, Massachusetts, she has spent more than enough years in New England to make her a local. Kaela utilizes poetry as an outlet in comparison to journaling, as she has felt that poetry better understands and expresses her mindset. With the experience from her college courses, Kaela hopes to make an impact in the writing community by integrating psychology into her poems. In the wild, you can find her antiquing, watching a horror movie, or indulging in some New England cuisine (especially oysters!).
