Aishvarya Arora (she/her/hers) is an Asian American poet and community-based researcher from Queens, New York. She studied English at Tufts University and was awarded the Morton N. Cohen Creative Writing Award. She’s made homes in Boston, Providence, and Delhi, India where she spent a year as a Fulbright Fellow. Currently, she’s based in Northampton, MA. Aishvarya likes to think, read, and write about mothering, family, language, immigration, and capitalism—and all the slimy ways these forces co-mingle. You can find her work in harana poetry. When she’s not writing, she likes to cook, encourage more people to wear lipstick, and do tarot readings.
