As a faculty member at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business and co-founder of Creative Re/Frame, LLC, Wendy embraces venn diagrams with overlapping commitments in her personal and professional life to social impact, creativity and community. She is dedicated to helping her students, clients and people she meets on the bus maximize their impact to build a world that matters. With an extensive background in US and South African presidential politics, community organizing, and social impact innovation across a million industries, Wendy effectively and authentically communicates, facilitates and delivers expert content from storytelling to creative innovation and design thinking. With audiences and clients ranging from undergraduate and graduate students, to higher education professionals and professors, worldwide NGO/non-profit leaders and creative entrepreneurs, Wendy leads with infectious energy, humor, clear thinking, curiosity and generosity. In 2024 Wendy received the Howard Morgan Award for her outstanding contribution to the innovation field at Boston University and is an advisor to Harvard University’s Lehman Program on Creativity and Entrepreneurship.
Wendy is also a writer with her professional contribution most recently appearing in the Cambridge University Journal for Law, Politics, and Art. Her personal writings can be found on absurdmusingblog.wordpress.
Originally from Minnesota, Wendy is a proud graduate of St. Olaf College (BA) and Tufts University (MA) and has lived all over the world, including on her bicycle.
