Maura Kelly (she/her) is the Director of Financial Planning & Administration at the National
Association of Higher Education Systems (NASH), where she leads budgeting, grants
management, and long-term financial strategy. She brings more than a decade of experience in
nonprofit finance and investment management, having previously worked at NEPC and
Northern Trust advising foundations, endowments, and other 501(c)(3) organizations on
complex investment portfolios. Maura earned her MBA from Babson College and her B.A. in
Business from Saint Anselm College, where she was captain of the women’s soccer team. A
South Shore native, she is passionate about strengthening communities through mission-driven
work and is excited to support Mass Poetry’s efforts to amplify creativity, inclusion, and the
power of poetry across Massachusetts. Outside of work, she enjoys cycling, skiing, traveling, and
spending time outdoors with her partner and their two rescue dogs.
