Jier Qiu (she/her) is a senior from China studying English and Education at Salem State University. She aspires to become an international educator and a part-time writer. As an active member of the university’s Poetry Translation Group, Jier is passionate about exploring the beauty of multilingual expression. Also, as an international student leader, Jier is dedicated to promoting cross-cultural understanding and expanding the charm of global diversity. She is fluent in Mandarin, Wu dialect, and English, now she is trying to teach herself Japanese. Jier enjoys traveling, cooking, and playing her magical traditional instrument.
