Ash Muzzillo (she/her) is a junior transfer student at Salem State University. She is majoring in English with a concentration in Creative Writing and a minor in Religious Studies. In congruence with her personal interests, Ash’s literary specialties include gothic and fantasy literature, stream-of-consciousness prose, and exploratory poetry. She views writing and reading literature as a lifeline – her way of processing and communicating the most important aspects of life. Ash’s poetry has been published in multiple literary magazines, from high school and collegiate student organizations to indie mags such as 7th Circle Pyrite. Ash is currently the Communications and Research Intern for Mass Poetry. Outside of her academic and literary life, Ash enjoys playing video games, listening to music, and exploring the North Shore’s many cemeteries.
