“Cape Cod Voices: Poetry of People & Place”

presented by the Cape Cod Writers’ Center
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 11

3 – 4:30 PM
Brush Art Gallery and Studios

Fifteen poets will read work reflecting historical and contemporary traditions contributing to a regional voice. Diverse voices of Native Americans and other native Cape Codders, new immigrants, and “wash ashore” poets will reveal a rich cultural identity that has developed in this naturally beautiful place, sometimes isolated, with its unique socioeconomic character, and independence from “the mainland.”
